and bathe them in love
over and over again.

    Beat the Heat this Summer

    Sitali Breath

In this pranayama, the inhalation is moistened as it passes through the curl of the tongue so that you are “drinking†water-saturated air.

    • Sit in a comfortable position with the head, neck, and spine in alignment.
    • Close your eyes, breathe deeply but gently for several minutes, then open the mouth and form the lips into an “O.â€
    • If possible, curl the tongue lengthwise and project it out of the mouth (about 3/4 of an inch).
    • While gently lifting chin; inhale deeply through the opening across the top of tongue and into the mouth as if drinking through a straw.
    • Focus your attention on the cooling sensation of the breath as the abdomen and lower ribs expand.
    • Now, gently lowering chin; withdraw the tongue (or curl the tip under into the roof of mouth) and close the mouth, exhaling completely through the nostrils.
    • Repeat about 12 times.  ENJOY the peace feeling cool, calm, and centered.

In the month of June, YFW collected over $55 to benefit The Cancer Connection of Idaho! We thank you!!

$13/class or $88:8 class passThe tones produced by crystal bowls are not just heard by the ear, you feel them in your body.  Experience the profound states of being that the crystal bowls bring as they fill you with deeply resonant sound vibrations and allow you to attain states of deep relaxation, harmony, and healing.  When you are immersed in the pure vibrations of the quartz crystal bowls, your physical and energetic bodies naturally resonate with them.  You can tune and balance with these frequencies, leaving deeply relaxed and rejuvenated from the inside out.

Cyndi was inspired and guided by Shantara Sandberg and has been enjoying healing bowls in her life for over two years now.  Cyndi has expertise and training in the area of Mindfulness from Mindful Schools, in addition to being a certified speech therapist, and has practiced yoga with Jeanne Dillion for nearly 17 years. She has had a personal meditation practice for over 20 years and lives life mindfully with her two children and their sweet little dog.
